Connect your Google Calendar to Konfidens to enable two-way synchronization — your Google events block out availability in Konfidens, and your Konfidens appointments appear automatically in Google Calendar.
💡 Appointments written to Google Calendar are anonymized: no client names or session details are shared, only a generic entry with a deep link back into Konfidens.
Prerequisites: a Google account for the calendar you want to sync, and access to your Konfidens account settings.
1. Open External Calendar settings
Go to Settings > External Calendar and click Add Google account.
2. Sign in and authorize the connection
Google's sign-in window will open. Sign in with the email address linked to the calendar you want to connect, then approve the authorization request. Once complete, the connection is established and appears in your settings.
3. Customize the calendar color
Click the color dot next to your connected account to choose which color Google Calendar events will display as in your Konfidens diary. This helps you visually distinguish external events from your Konfidens appointments.
4. Force a manual sync
If you need your calendars to refresh sooner than the automatic sync interval, click the Sync button to pull the latest updates immediately.
5. View synced events in your diary
Open your Konfidens calendar and you'll see all your Google Calendar appointments displayed alongside your Konfidens appointments. Clicking an external event opens its details, and a button lets you jump directly into Google Calendar to view or edit it there.
6. Show or hide external events
If your Google Calendar is busy and clutters your diary view, you can toggle external events on or off. Click the three dots above the calendar and select Hide external events.
