Send Appointment Reminders to Someone Other Than the Client

You can easily control who receives appointment confirmations and reminders.

There are several situations where it is useful for someone other than the client to receive appointment confirmations and reminders. This may apply when the client is a child and the parents should receive all communication, or in couples and family therapy.

How to Set It Up

  1. Find the relevant client in the client list and open the Profile tab.

  2. Scroll down to the Contacts section at the bottom of the page.

  3. Click + New contact, choose whether to add a person or an organisation, and fill in the relevant information.

  4. In the Notifications section, tick the option for the contact to receive notifications.

This feature requires the Family add-on. Enable it from Clinic β†’ Functionality


Enable Notifications for Existing Contacts

If you want to enable notifications for a contact that has already been added, click the three dots next to the name and select Add notifications.
