Default Reminders for Services

As a clinic administrator, you have the ability to configure default message settings for client notifications. To do this, navigate to Clinic โ†’ Services.

Within each service, you can select which messages should be sent to clients. These selections will serve as default settings but can be overridden by the practitioner for individual bookings.

Change Message Settings for a Specific Booking

Practitioners can view the default notification settings set by the clinic administrator by expanding the Messages section when creating or modifying a booking. If desired, you can override the message preferences for that specific booking.

When Are Messages Sent?

  • Appointment Confirmation: Sent when the booking is created.

  • Reminder: Sent approximately 24 hours before the appointment.

  • Change Notification: Sent to the client in case of a time change or a switch between in-person and video appointments. This message is sent immediately after the change is saved.

  • Cancellation: Sent when the appointment is canceled.

What Do the Messages Contain?

Each message includes the following details:

  • The reason for the message (reminder, cancellation, confirmation).

  • Appointment date and time.

  • Clinic name.

  • A link to a page with additional information (see below).

Booking Page Link

The message contains a link to a dedicated page for that specific booking. On this page, the client can:

  • Review the appointment date, time, and location.

  • Cancel the appointment within the clinic's specified cancellation window.

If the appointment is scheduled to be conducted via video, the client will also find a button to join the video appointment here.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: To experience how the process looks for your clients, schedule an appointment with yourself.
