What happens if a client doesn't pay for the appointment?

The most common way of paying therapists is that their clients are sent a payment information. This is done automatically by Konfidens when using Konfidens Pay. But what clients chooses to ignore messages and not pay?

Who is this article for?

This article is for clinic managers and therapists who has enabled Konfidens Pay, and are using it for receiving payments from clients.

Day 1: The agreement is executed and an invoice is created

If you have automatic invoicing, but dispatch after the appointment, the invoice is finalized and the first message is sent out fifteen minutes after the appointments has been completed.

Day 2: The client receives a reminder
If the client does not pay within 24 hours, the first reminder is sent.

Day 15: The client receives a 2nd reminder

Day 28: The client receives a notice of possible debt collection.

Day 42: E-mail notification to the therapist

After 42 days, the class can be sent to debt collection. The therapist who conducted the appointment will then receive an automatic e-mail from us telling them about this.

Some write off the invoice and refuse more appointments for the client. Others have an agreement with a debt collection company and pass it on.

Where can I see the payments status of my invoice?

Under Reports -> Client balance, you can filter on the invoice's payment status to see which invoices have been reminded and which are ready for collection.
