The differences between individual and centralized responsibility

Updated over a week ago

Clinics can be structured in a wide range of ways. Some clinics consist of several individual therapists who just happens to share facilities, and other clinics might be working closely together.

Different clinic structures requires different ways of handling access control and client ownership. In Konfidens the clinic can choose between to forms of administrative responsibility: Central and individual responsibility.

How do I choose responsibility type?

When you invite your first coworker (via Clinic → Coworkers), you'll automatically be asked which responsibility type the clinic should use.

How can I change responsibility type?

After you've chosen a responsibility type, you won't be able to change it by yourself. If you'd like to change it later, you’ll first need to inform your colleagues about the change and what it entails. Afterwards, contact us via support, and we’ll help you update it.

Administrator without access to notes

If your treatment responsibility setting is Clinic, but you have administrative staff who shouldn’t have access to secure notes (e.g., an assistant), you can assign them as Office Staff rather than as an administrator.
