Setting Up Self-Service Booking

Getting started with online booking is a breeze. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process step by step.

To get started with self-service booking, there are four simple steps:

  1. Review the booking settings.

  2. Select the services that can be booked online

  3. Enable online booking for coworkers.

  4. Create links to the booking portal from your website.

Review the booking settings.

  1. Go to the sidebar and select Clinic. From there, go to Self-service booking.

  2. Ensure that your booking link is configured as desired, and make any necessary changes.

  3. Choose your preferred time slots for booking periods.


Select the services that can be booked online

  1. Click on Clinic in the sidebar and then Services.

  2. Pick the services you want to make available for online booking and scroll down to the "Visibility" section.

  3. Choose which practitioners offer these services. At least one practitioner must offer the service for it to appear in online booking.

  4. Each practitioner can also independently enable or disable services they offer.


Activate Online Booking for Coworkers

  1. Navigate to Clinic โ†’ Coworkers.

  2. Click on the three dots next to the coworker's name and select Visibility.

  3. Set the visibility level for the practitioner. At least one practitioner must be visible for online booking to work.

Remember that in addition to visibility, practitioners also need to have set their opening hours to be visible in the online booking. As an administrator, you can update the opening hours on their behalf by clicking on the three dots next to the coworker's name and select Opening Hours.

If you want to prevent unwanted gaps in your coworkers' schedules, you can also set up their "Time magnet". To do this, click again on the three dots next to the coworker's name, and this time select Time magnet. For more details, refer to our dedicated guide here.

Staff members can take control of their own visibility, opening hours and time magnet by accessing the Settings section and navigating to Self-service booking.

Create Links to the Booking Portal on Your Website

Now, all that's left is to link to the booking portal from your website. To find the necessary links, navigate to Clinic in the sidebar and select Self-service booking.

Konfidens supports direct links to various parts of the booking process:

  • The booking homepage where clients can choose between services or practitioners.

  • An overview of clinic practitioners.

  • An overview of clinic services.

  • Direct links to each individual practitioner.

  • Direct links to each individual service.

You can easily retrieve the links you need from the highlighted section at the top of the page. Select what you want to link to from the dropdown menu and click Copy Link.

Create a button on your website and add the link you copied from Konfidens.

That's it! You're all set up for online booking, and your clients can now seamlessly schedule appointments with ease.
