Change my phone number

How to change the phone number used for logging in and/or shown to clients

Updated this week

Who is this article for?

This article is intended for practitioners and clinic administrators who wants to change their phone number.

If you're a client, ask your practitioner to update the information they've got.

You use your phone number to log into Konfidens. Additionally, a phone number is shown in the appointment page that is sent to clients as a booking confirmation.

These two numbers are often the same, but you may change them individually.

Change number used for login

The phone number used for login is shown under Settings > Profile.

If you wish to change your phone number used for login:

  1. If you don't already have a password for login, set this under Settings > Security

  2. Send an SMS, call us or send a WhatsApp to 074 4604 7471 from your new phone number. Say that you wish to change the phone number to this phone number, and which phone number you're changing from.

  3. We will call you up on the old phone number to confirm the change.

Change contact information shown to client

This action can only be performed by clinic administrators.

When a client receive a notification about a new appointment, they're linked to a page that show information about the appointment, and your clinic. On this page, your phone number and email is shown.

To update this information, visit Clinic > General, and update the relevant fields

Using practitioner contact info

If you work in a clinic with multiple practitioners, you may want to display different contact information based on which practitioner has the appointment.

If this applies to your clinic, select Use practitioner contact info. The client will then see the contact information that each individual practitioner has set under Settings > Profile

Hide contact information for client

As of today, you can not choose to hide phone number or email for the client in the booking confirmation.
