Give a client a discount
You can set a fixed discount on a client, often called sliding scale pricing. Konfidens then takes that amount off the session price on new appointments, both when you book in the calendar and when the client books online.
Before you start
You need to be a practitioner or clinic manager with access to edit the client's profile.
The client must already exist.
Steps
Go to Client Profile
Open Clients in the sidebar.
Open the client.
Click Profile.
Set a discount
In the Client profile, scroll down to Discount.
Enter the Amount off.
Click Save.
The discount is now applied automatically to future appointments.
Good to know
The discount is a fixed amount in your clinic's currency, not a percentage.
It applies only to new appointments. Existing appointments keep their original price.
When you book in the calendar, the discounted price is filled in automatically. You can still change it before you add the appointment.
When the client books online, they see the discount after they log in and pick a therapist. The discounted price is applied automatically. They cannot change it.
The discount is not applied to insurance appointments.
The price never goes below zero. If the discount is larger than the session price, the appointment costs 0.
If the amount is too high, you will see Amount is too high.
Leave Amount off empty and click Save to remove the discount.
Saving the discount does not send an email or SMS.
If the client already has an upcoming appointment, New appointment is replaced by that appointment. Open Calendar and add an appointment for the client instead.
