Updated over 3 weeks ago

Who is this article for?

This article is for therapists who have a client they wish to archive or delete.

How do I archive a client?

Click the three dots next to a client name to select Archive Client.

To view archived clients, click the text at the bottom of the list, Show archived.

How do I reactivate a previously archived client?

To reactivate a previously archived client, click the three dots again, and select Reactivate client.

How do I delete a client?

To delete a client permanently, you must first archive them – as described above. Then, locate the archived client and click the three dots next to their name to bring up the options menu. You will now see and option to "delete client".

⚠️ Warning: Client deletion is permanent

Deleting a client will permanently remove all associated data and cannot be undone. Therapists are often legally required to retain client records for several years after therapy ends — and in many cases, these legal obligations take precedence over GDPR’s right to erasure.

Before deleting any client data, make sure to review your local record-keeping regulations and/or guidelines from your professional body.
