Adding and using video session

This article provides a step-by-step guide on setting up video-based services within Konfidens.

Updated this week

To create and modify services, you need administrator access, and video functionality must be enabled under Clinic β†’ Features before you proceed.

Creating a video-based service

  1. Click on Clinic in the sidebar and select Services.

  2. Create a new service by clicking on + New Service.

  3. Fill in the service details and check the box under the Video Call section.

  4. Under Notifications make sure to at a minimum enable email or SMS for confirmation message. This is necessary for the client to receive the link to the video chat.

That's it! For all future appointments for this service, a unique meeting room will be created. The client will automatically receive a link to the meeting room. The practitioner can access the meeting room directly from the calendar or the sidebar agenda.

Clients receive video links in their booking confirmation

When creating an appointment, you can choose to send a confirmation to the client using SMS or e-mail. Either way, the video link is included in their confirmation.

Joining a video session

Under todays agenda your left hand side, you'll see a video icon next to the related appointment.

Simply click the video icon to join the video call. It will blink whenever it's time to join.

Remove or add video link to an appointment

If an appointment changes from video to in-person (or vica versa), simply

  • Find the related booking in your calendar

  • Click the edit icon

  • In the sidebar, scroll to Video session, and turn it off/on.
