Default Pause Duration for a Service
When you, as a clinic administrator, create a new service, you can specify how long a break should be added after each appointment. The break blocks the calendar so that new appointments cannot be scheduled too close to the previous one, and gives the practitioner time to write clinical notes or prepare for the next session.
You can view and set break times for services under Clinic → Services.
Set a Personal Pause Duration
The clinic administrator may have configured break times that do not suit you as an individual practitioner. If you want a custom break and not follow the clinic’s default settings, you can override it via:
Settings → Self-service booking → Break time
Set Personal Break Time on Behalf of Users
If you are a clinic administrator and want to set a custom break time for a practitioner in the clinic, you can do so via:
Clinic → Coworkers
Find the relevant practitioner and select ••• → Pause duration.
