Grouping of services in online booking

Categorize services and display them as collapsable sections in online booking.

If you have many services, categorizing them can help provide a booking experience that is easier for clients to navigate. The feature provides clickable categories that show/hide the associated services.

To follow this guide, you must have a user with administrator access

Create service categories

  1. Go to Clinic β†’ Services and edit an existing service or create a new one.

  2. Scroll down to the Category section.

  3. Click the + button to create a new category, or select an existing one from the dropdown menu.

  4. Repeat for all services you wish to categorize.

Services that do not have a category will be displayed in online booking under a group titled Other.

Change the order of categories and services

When you have services organized into two or more categories, you will see the grouping in the list of the clinic's services. You can easily change the order of both categories and services as follows:

  1. Go to Clinic β†’ Services

  2. Click the three dots in the upper right corner

  3. Select Change order

  4. You will now see that all categories and services have buttons to move them up or down in the hierarchy.

    1. Click up/down in the gray row with the category name to move the entire category.

    2. Click up/down on a service to change the order internally within a category.

To see how the experience will be in online booking, click the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner and select Show in self-service booking to open the practice' booking page.

The feature can be combined with the multiple locations feature. Each category with at least one active service will then be displayed under each location. You change the order of the locations in the same way as categories and services.
